Design usage
LW150 is designed for 2-phase decanter centrifuge and is mainly used for samll-scale contrinous processing operations from 1/1-500 u/H. The inlet and outlet volume is much smaller than that required for industrical centrifuges. It is used for research institutions and small batch production. Usually used in these industries such as food , chemical, pharmaceutical, biology, etc.
Constitues parts
This machine is a counter current horizontal spiral discharge settling centrifuge, consisting of a column cone drum, a spiral discharge device, a differential system, a bearing seat, a machine base, a casing, main and auxiliary motors, and an electrical system.
Working principle
The suspension enters the drum through the feed pipe and the spiral discharge port. Under the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, solid particles with a higher density deposit on the inner wall of the drum. The spiral blades that move relative to the drum continuously scrape off the solid particles deposited on the inner wall of the drum and push them out of the slag discharge port. The separated clear liquid flows out of the drum through the opening of the liquid layer adjustment plate. The relative motion between the spiral and the drum, that is, the differential speed, is achieved through a differential, and its magnitude is controlled by the auxiliary motor. The differential housing is connected to the drum, the output shaft is connected to the screw, and the input shaft is connected to the auxiliary motor. The main motor drives the rotation of the drum and also drives the rotation of the differential housing, while the auxiliary motor controls the speed of the differential input shaft through the coupling connection. By enabling the differential to transmit torque to the screw at a certain speed ratio, the centrifugal machine achieves continuous separation of materials.

1. System Description
The main unit of the LW150 centrifuge adopts dual motors, dual frequency conversion control, and an energy feedback drive system composed of high-performance frequency converters, with a fully functional control system. The characteristics of this control system are a The main and auxiliary frequency converters are directly connected in parallel with the DC bus, which has excellent energy-saving effect and significant energy-saving effect. When the centrifuge is running, the auxiliary motor is in a generating state and operates continuously; b. Smooth start-up, wide speed range, capable of handling liquids with different solid contents, significantly increasing processing capacity; c. Both the main motor and the auxiliary motor are controlled by frequency converters, achieving stepless adjustment of the centrifuge drum speed and differential speed within the design range. By adjusting the speed of the auxiliary motor, a reasonable differential speed can be obtained.
